Webcam Model FAQ

  • What is Internet Modeling, and how long have you been in business?
  • Founded in 1998, Internet Modeling is one of the largest online modeling agencies, offering the highest paying webcam jobs in the industry with over 100,000 webcam models under management!

  • How much money can I make as a webcam model?
  • We pay models 60% of total earnings (70% after 6 months) for live broadcasts, recorded videos, and personal item sales on our amateur network. So if a customer spends $1, you get $0.70 of it (there are no tricks, restrictions or deductions). Our highest paid webcam models make $2,000 or more per week.

  • Do I need to reach any quotas before I get the maximum payout?
  • No. We offer a fixed maximum payout no matter how much money you make or where your traffic comes from. Even if you signed up through an agent, you still get a 60% net payout (70% after 6 months). So for every $1 a customer spends on the Tokens he gives you, you will get $0.60 from us when you cash them out ($0.70 after 6 months).

  • Will I need to get my own traffic in order to make money?
  • Not at all. We will provide you with more traffic than you can handle.

  • Which websites do you represent, and where can I work as a webcam model?
  • We have the best cam sites to work for, with over 10 million combined visitors per day. Many of the websites we represent use us as their exclusive agency for hiring models, and they do not hire directly.

  • What sets Internet Modeling apart from other agencies?
  • Our higher payout and long term stability. In an industry where the turnover and burnout rate for webcam jobs is very high, most of our models have been working with us for three years or more.

  • I only have a phone, can I still become a camgirl?
  • Yes, as long as it is a newer iOS or Android phone. Our primary network is optimized for mobile devices, so you can make as much money on your phone, if not more.

  • What do you do to protect my privacy?
  • Your real name and contact info is kept in the strictest confidence, and is not allowed to be revealed to the client. For additional privacy, we have the only cam site network which does not require models to upload profile pictures or show their face on cam. Also, model and member profiles are invisible to search engines, so there is very little chance of people you know finding you.

  • How do I become a webcam model?
  • We have high paying webcam jobs for female and male models in every category. If you are 18 or older, please complete our webcam model application to get started.

  • When can I start working as a webcam model, and do I need prior experience?
  • You can start right now by clicking here, even while your application is being processed. No prior experience in webcam modeling is necessary, and brand new models do very well.

  • Do you charge models fees or ask for their credit card number?
  • No. Our fees are paid directly by the websites we represent, and never by models.

  • How do I know this is not a scam?
  • Internet Modeling is one of the largest and most reputable webcam modeling agencies that has been in business since 1998, and represents over 100,000 models worldwide. Models never have to pay us any fees because we recruit for our website partners, and are paid directly by them. Click here to see our highest earning webcam models.

  • Yes. In fact, there is a lot of demand for couple and group webcam shows, so you are likely to make more money. Also, you must apply for a separate stage name for each group show if it does not already have one.

  • I currently work for another site, can I work with you and work there too?
  • Yes. We have no problem with you doing webcam modeling on other sites, as long as you are not online on our network at the same time (simulcasting). Once you see how much more you can make with us, you will not be asking this question for too much longer :)

  • Do you hold back pay or deduct for chargebacks?
  • No. Once your paid chats are over, you have done your job, and the money you earned is yours to keep. We do not hold back funds nor deduct for chargebacks.

  • Payments to models are made weekly for the previous week worked. Our pay period runs Saturday 8pm EST to Saturday 7:59pm EST.

  • What schedule do I work?
  • The best part of working with us is the flexibility, as we do not require you to work a minimum amount of hours or at any specific time. You set your own schedule, and can come and go as you please. Obviously, the more hours you work, the more you will make.

  • You can work from any location you choose, as all you need is a high speed Internet connection, a computer, and a webcam.
